Neretva Rafting & Tito’s Bunker: A Day of Adrenaline and History

1 Day

Journey from an Emerald River to a Cold War Secret

Experience two of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most iconic attractions in one unforgettable day. Your morning will be spent conquering the thrilling rapids of the emerald Neretva River, a world of pristine nature, splashy waves, and pure adrenaline. Paddle hard with your team, swim in crystal-clear water, and soak in the beauty of the spectacular canyon.

Then, journey from the wild outdoors deep underground into a secret world frozen in time. We will take you inside the ARK D-0, Tito’s top-secret nuclear bunker, a sprawling subterranean complex built to protect Yugoslavia’s elite. Walk through its preserved rooms, see the untouched 1970s technology, and feel the chilling atmosphere of the Cold War. This unique tour combines the best of Bosnia’s natural beauty with its most fascinating and mysterious piece of history.

The Challenge: What to Expect

This full-day tour is a journey of contrasts, from high-energy activity to quiet, historical exploration. The rafting portion is moderately challenging (Class II-IV rapids) and suitable for beginners with a sense of adventure.
