Your Skakavac Waterfall Itinerary
A perfectly paced half-day escape into nature.
Your tour begins with a morning pick-up in Sarajevo. We will take a short, scenic drive to the entrance of the Skakavac Nature Reserve.
From the trailhead, we begin our walk through the dense and beautiful beech and fir forest. Your guide will point out interesting plants and share facts about the reserve as you enjoy the peaceful trail.
The sound of rushing water grows as we approach the main event. We will first arrive at a viewpoint offering a stunning panoramic view of the entire waterfall. We then continue our descent to the base of the falls, where you can feel its power and cool spray.
We will find a scenic spot to enjoy our packed lunch, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the forest.
After our break, we begin the steady ascent back to the trailhead. Our transport will be waiting to take you back to Sarajevo, arriving in the afternoon.
